The messiest thing by your sink is the toothpaste tube.
Nothing's wrong with brushing. It's the tube that's annoying — and it follows you everywhere you go.
- The crusty capDried paste around the nozzle, on the counter, on the mirror.
- Guessing the amountToo much one day, a smear the next. Nobody actually measures.
- Leaks in your bagOne squeeze in a toiletry bag and everything smells of mint.
- Airport liquid rulesToothpaste counts as a gel at security, so it has to fit in the clear bag.
- The last bit you can't reachRolling, flattening, squeezing — then binning paste you paid for.
- Tube after plastic tubeAnother empty plastic tube in the bin every few weeks.

One tablet. One brush. Done.
ORAVIE Toothpaste Tablets are toothpaste pressed into a dry tablet. Chew one for a few seconds, it breaks down into a paste, and you brush exactly as you always have. Same routine — just no tube.
- 1

Every brush gets one tablet. No guessing, no waste.
- 2

What's in the tin — and why.
These are the key ingredients our supplier has confirmed for this exact tin. Here's what each one does, in plain language — no borrowed science, no medical promises.

MineralHydroxyapatite (10%)
A calcium-phosphate mineral of the same type that makes up most of natural tooth enamel. It's used here in a formula that contains no fluoride.
Surface-cleaning agentPAP
Phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid — an ingredient used in oral care for everyday surface stains while you brush. We don't promise whitening results.
SweetenerXylitol
A sugar alcohol that gives a lightly sweet taste with no added sugar. Toxic to dogs — keep the tin away from pets.
Polishing & cleaningCalcium carbonate & sodium bicarbonate
Two familiar toothpaste ingredients — a fine chalk and baking soda — that polish and clean tooth surfaces as you brush.
FlavourPeppermint & spearmint
The fresh, cool mint taste while you brush and just after.
Full ingredient information
Key ingredients confirmed by our supplier for this tin: hydroxyapatite (10%), PAP (phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid), xylitol, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, peppermint and spearmint.
The complete ingredient list is printed on every tin, and that label is always the reference. If you are allergic or sensitive to any ingredient, do not use this product.
Fluoride-free. Do not swallow. Contains xylitol — keep away from dogs and other pets.
Chew. Brush. Rinse.
1Chew
Take one tablet and chew for a few seconds until it breaks down into a soft paste.
2Brush
Wet your toothbrush and brush as you normally do — about two minutes is the usual advice.
3Rinse
Spit out the foam and rinse. Use morning and night, like any toothpaste.
First few times? Chew the tablet fully before you start brushing, and add a little extra water to your brush if you want more foam. It feels different from paste at first — give it a few brushes.

New to ORAVIE. Here's what people say about this toothpaste tablet format.
ORAVIE Toothpaste Tablets are new, so we don't have our own customer reviews yet. Instead of leaving you guessing, we read the public reviews of a tablet with the same key ingredients and summarised them — the good and the bad.
Where this comes from: verified-purchase reviews of DR.DENT Purple Toothpaste Tablets on Amazon.com — a different brand's 90-tablet tin that lists the same key ingredients (10% hydroxyapatite, PAP and xylitol). Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 119 ratings when we checked on 8 October 2026; some UK reviews were from Amazon Vine members who received the product free.
These people bought from DR.DENT, not ORAVIE, and we can't confirm the two products are identical. Everything below is summarised in our own words — no review text is copied. Topic counts are Amazon's own review-summary tags.

This compares format and listed ingredients only. It is not a claim that tablets clean or protect teeth better than any toothpaste. Fluoride toothpaste is widely recommended for preventing cavities — if your dentist has advised fluoride for you, ask them before switching.
Everything you'd ask before buying.
What exactly am I buying?
A slim sliding metal tin (about 10.4 × 6.3 × 2.3 cm) holding 90 peppermint toothpaste tablets, 63 g net. You chew one tablet, then brush with a wet toothbrush — it replaces the toothpaste from a tube. The 2- and 3-tin options are the same tin, just more of them.
How do I use it?
Take one tablet, chew it for a few seconds until it turns into a paste, brush with a wet toothbrush as you normally would, then spit and rinse. One tablet per brush, morning and night.
How long does one tin last?
Each tin has 90 tablets. At one tablet per brush, twice a day, that's about 45 days. Two tins last about 90 days and three tins about 135 days.
What's in it?
The key ingredients confirmed by our supplier are hydroxyapatite (10%), PAP, xylitol, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, peppermint and spearmint. The complete list is printed on the tin. See the ingredients section for what each one does.
Does it contain fluoride?
No. The formula uses hydroxyapatite instead. Fluoride toothpaste is widely recommended for preventing cavities, so if you're prone to decay or your dentist has advised fluoride, check with them before switching.
Will it whiten my teeth?
It contains PAP, an ingredient used in oral care for everyday surface stains, but we don't promise whitening results. Results vary from person to person, and crowns, veneers and fillings won't change shade. It's a daily toothpaste, not a whitening treatment.
Is it OK for sensitive teeth or gums?
Everyone's mouth is different and we can't promise it won't irritate. If you notice irritation, stop using it. For ongoing sensitivity, bleeding gums or pain, please see a dentist — that's not something to rely on a toothpaste to fix.
Who is it for?
Adults. It isn't designed for children. If you have braces, crowns, veneers or other dental work, or you're unsure whether it suits you, ask your dentist.
Does it foam like normal toothpaste?
Yes. Once you chew a tablet and brush with a wet toothbrush, it foams into a familiar paste. The foam can be a little lighter than a gel toothpaste — a wetter brush helps.
Can I take it on a plane?
The tablets are solid, so they generally aren't treated as a liquid or gel. Rules vary by country and airline, so check before you fly.
Is it safe around pets?
Keep it away from pets. The tablets contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs. If a pet eats any, contact a vet straight away.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is free to every country we deliver to, with no minimum order. Delivery is estimated at 8–15 business days after your order is dispatched, and you'll get tracking by email. Orders with more than one tin may arrive in separate parcels. Outside the US, local customs duties or taxes may apply.
What is your return policy?
You can return unopened tins within 30 days of delivery. If your order arrives damaged, wrong or incomplete, contact us and we'll replace or refund the affected items. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every option is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews and you won't be charged again.
Are the reviews on this page from ORAVIE customers?
Not yet. ORAVIE Toothpaste Tablets are new, so the feedback section summarises public reviews of another brand's tablet with the same key ingredients, and says so. As soon as ORAVIE customers leave reviews, they'll appear here instead.
Make it your last tube.
Two tins cover about 90 days of brushing — so you won't run out while a reorder is on its way.
